TINNED FISH

CONTEMPORARY TINNED FISH - 1995 ONWARDS.
(100 grammes upwards.)

A trading fad in the late 1980's, canned fish collecting is making a come-back.

Those in the know are well aware that "best before" and "use by" dates are not relevant. Fish, and sardines in particular, benefit greatly from long periods of maturity, just like fine wines. In addition, the attraction of complete and integral cans is of great interest to those who see the value of investing in fish with the sole intention of accruing a capital gain rather than eating the contents, and with some tins from the 1800's selling for thousands of pounds, this interest in investment cans is slowly but surely filtering out into the general market.

Unfortunately, our stock of fish from that period has long gone, but we still retain stocks of some interesting contemporary cans which we hope may tickle your fancy.

We need to add that legally, we must tell you that all these products are sold with "investment only" status, not to be consumed. But what you do with them after having bought them is your private affair!

Until the web site is complete, please don't hesitate to contact us with your canned fish needs to see if we have what you require.
