9 CARAT GOLD.
Issued to employees who achieved 25 years service with the company.

This attractive item is a lapel badge as issued by Shell oil company to employees who had completed 25 years service.
It is made of 9 carat gold and incorporates a diamond at the base of the shell design. It is affixed through the buttonhole and has a screw device to make it tight-fitting.
Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1955 (AC&Co - 9 - 375 - Anchor F), it weighs 3.6 grammes.

This vintage (1897) "Jay" cigar holder is a quality British-made item. Of amber interspersed with ivory, it has two gold bands, both fully hallmarked for Chester, (England), as follows: Maker mark W.W - Chester shield - 9 - .375 - Date letter: large "O" in octagon (1897).
MATERIAL: Amber, Ivory and Gold .375.
WEIGHT: 15.24 grammes.
LENGTH: 95 mm
END WIDTH: 19 mm.
ASSAYED AT: Chester.
YEAR: 1897 (O).

This vintage (1905) cigar holder is a quality British item, made by Henry Perkins and Sons. Crafted of amber it has a single gold band. The full hallmark for London, (England), is slightly worn, but legible as follows: Maker mark HP & SS - 9 - .375 - Date letter: small "k" (1905) - London leopard's head.
MATERIAL: Amber and Gold .375.
WEIGHT: 14.36 grammes.
LENGTH: 100 mm

COMPLETE SET OF SIX STERLING SILVER APOSTLE SPOONS with TONGS.
All of our precious metal items have full BRITISH hallmarks unless otherwise stated.
The hallmark on these spoons contains the famous Apostle hallmark - a paired star and cross.

This vintage set (1910) consists of 6 sterling silver apostle spoons with accompanying sterling silver sugar tongs.
Each spoon weighs approximately 14.7 grammes and the tongs weigh 23.8 grammes.
The set is, of course, pre-used and has been polished, but the condition of all components, including bespoke box, is good, with no obvious damage to be seen bar for a very small pen mark on the inner lid.
